Subluxations
What is a subluxation?
A subluxation occurs when one or more vertebrae in your spine become “misaligned” or “stuck.” Some subluxations are caused by an injury. However, a subluxation can also be caused by simple, everyday activities, like sitting or standing for long periods of time.
Subluxations can have many negative impacts on your body. For example, a subluxation can:
-
Interfere with the ability of the spinal cord and nerves to deliver the brain’s messages to the body
-
Jumpstart the disc degeneration process
-
Accelerate the progression of arthritis
-
Strain muscles
-
Sprain ligaments
This is why it is so important to be checked regularly for subluxations, and receive treatment whenever a subluxation occurs.
Where do subluxations occur?
Subluxations can appear in the:

Neck (cervical spine)
