Dear Patient,
Thank you for visiting my bio page.
Company History
Dr. Vito in New York State
I joined the Better Health Team because I wanted to make a difference with a practice that was progressive and helped a lot of people. After researching Better Health I was impressed with their multi provider approach. as well as their status in the community as the leading chiropractic and physical therapy practices in the state. Most chiropractic and physical therapy practices are “stand-alone” meaning one provider and one receptionist. I wanted to belong to a “health team” where patients would be able to see more than one provider on one visit, get multiple therapies done, and still spend about the same amount of time in the office.
Personal History
I grew up in the suburbs of Buffalo, New York. From childhood through my high school years, I played baseball very competitively as a catcher for 13 years. I received my associates degree from Erie Community College. I then moved to Atlanta, Georgia to attend Life University and get my doctorate of chiropractic degree and met Emily my fiancée.
Emily spent eight years serving our country in the Navy where she spent most of her enlistment in Sicilia, Sicily and San Diego, California. We don’t have any children yet but one wonderfully behaved dog named Motley. Motley is a shar pei Brittany mix that loves to play.

We moved to Anchorage in early 2011, so we are still greenhorns, but love everything this great state has offered so far. We both decided on Alaska because it is a very unique state in that it is isolated and self-sufficient with such beautiful scenery to offer. One day we hope to start and raise a family here in the last frontier.
Hobbies
I am very enthusiastic about treating patients and getting them well so they can go back to enjoying the things they love to do. When I’m not in the office, I enjoy fishing, hunting, camping and playing with Motley. I also volunteer at the American Heart Association.
Professional activities
I keep my studies current by taking continuing education courses in x-ray reading, spinal conditions and advances in chiropractic care.
I invite you to call and speak with me about your condition. I am available to speak with you anytime between 9 AM- 7PM M-F, or you may simply send an email to the address below. If you call, I can usually return your call within a couple hours. I will review any records you may have with you, and see if I can help you.
Sincerely,
Jonathan Vito, DC
